Today I want to talk to you about how SMB or Small to Medium Business eCommerce really works.
Let’s be honest, people go out and they build a website or have someone build a website for them, they log all of their products online and start to take orders.
At that point people get busy with rekeying those orders into their inventory or their accounting software, busy with fulfilling those orders, updating pricing, updating new products, removing old products and so forth, it just becomes an absolute mess quite quickly and it stresses people out.
It also takes a huge amount of time for people to do all of these things manually, they might be keying in data, they might be copying and pasting or they might be importing csv files and all of those things can lead to errors which can lead to people ordering a product at the wrong price, or a product that’s no longer available but still being listed on the website and so forth, the challenges there can be huge and I am sure you know what I’m talking about if you’re actively selling online at this point.
This is the kind of thing that eCommerce integration can solve, this is the kind of thing that eCommerce integration can smooth out by streamlining the flow of data in both directions.
